Endeavour recognizes the importance of contributing to the communities in which both it and its client companies operate. Endeavour's core corporate social responsibility engagement is with the Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative (CGSGI), an initiative launched by President Bill Clinton and Frank Giustra in June 2007. CGSGI is beginning its work in partnership with an industry that has a truly global reach: the natural resources sector. By increasing the scope, scale, impact, and sustainability of social and economic development efforts in communities where the natural resource industries are an important part of the economy, CGSGI hopes to develop a model for how all corporate sectors can spur sustainable social and economic development as an integral part of their operations in the developing world.

"Endeavour Mining Capital applauds President Bill Clinton and Endeavour's former Chairman, Frank Giustra, on the launch of the Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative. We're particularly pleased to support the important work of this international effort by covering a significant portion of its administrative costs, as well as providing additional ongoing financial support.

For some time now, we've watched with tremendous interest as the President and Frank worked to take this remarkable opportunity off the drawing board and turn it into a reality. Consequently, while Frank has stepped down as our Chairman, we are pleased and proud that he will remain as a key consultant and important part of Endeavour's work in the years ahead.

Finally, like so many others in the world's mining industry, we're eager to get on with the work of the Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative."
